Lost something with GWR?

We have partnered with MissingX, the world’s largest lost and found database.

If you lose something on one of our trains, or at one of our stations, we’ll do our best to find it. The more detail you can give us, the better.

  • Luggage - let us know the contents
  • Clothing - let us know the brand, colour and size
  • Mobile phones - ideally we need the IMEI number (on the box your phone came in, or your network should have it)
  • Electronic devices – let us know the serial number if you have it
  • Anything unique that will help us identity your item

Items found at GWR locations will be sent to our lost property office at Bristol Temple Meads. It can take several days for items to reach us.

Items may be found at stations operated by a different train company to the one you travelled with – we will let you know if you need to contact anybody else.

Once verified we have your item, you can collect in person, send someone else, or pay to have it returned.

We hold items for 3 months. 

Please note - we do not operate London Paddington station. Please visit www.lostproperty.org to register items lost there.
